DAAY is modern art rock from South London drawing on influences from contemporary indie, jazz, punk and psychedelic music. They plung the listener into a psychedelic and experimental world featuring steady percussion, distorted vocals and a sense of otherworldliness.

LIPWORMS

Originally from Porsmouth, Portsmouth based LIPWORMS are noisy, yet danceable and bridging the gaps between noise-rock, psych-rock and techno. They combine fuzzy, industrial instrumentation, screaming guitars, driving krautrock rhythms and hypnotic vocals together.

Described by Damnation Festival as "One of the UK's finest rising post-rock" talents, Din of Celestial Birds bring their powerfully emotive post-rock to Brighton to kick off their first tour of 2024. After a storming 2023 touring their debut album The Night is for Dreamers, including performances at ArcTanGent and Damnation Festival's Night of Salvation, the 'Birbs' are back, this time celebrating 5 years since their debut release, EP 1, with a mix of album tracks and re-worked EP 1 tracks. Their stunning live performances guide the listener on a tumultuously enrapturing journey through euphoric highs, crushing lows, and everything inbetween.

Fusing phenomenal musicianship with visionary imagination, Mount Forel weave enveloping soundscapes which inspire comparisons to any number of musical greats, with elements of Radiohead, Mogwai, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, and even Philip Glass. These maestros leave no stone unturned when excavating their broad mastery of musical devices, as exemplified on their latest masterwork, Sub Rosa Stories. Their spellbinding craft is best experienced live - don't miss this exceptional opportunity to catch the masters at work!

Completing the lineup are Brighton's own uncompromisingly cerebral Ensemble 1, whose calculatedly experimental approach to composition is as impossible to categorise as it is captivating. Fusing post-rock aesthetics with math-rock riffs and Reich-like rhythms, their evocative releases Guitar, Bass & Drums, and Delay Works challenge and delight the listener in equal measure.

Let's Swim, Get Swimming are stopping by in Dalston for the London date of their headline tour, fresh from serving up two slices of mathrock perfection in the form of new singles "Rodney's Copper Shop" and "Train Driver / Glenn McKlennan". This will be the band's first trip to the big smoke since supporting Aiming For Enrike back in February, so come show them how much you've missed'em by getting your shimmy on!

They'll also be bringing the new and fizzy sounds of tourmates Tokyo Toy Company with them to get you in the mood with their infectious blend of indie-mathpunk (Just go listen to the wonderful single, "West-Mid Emo"... you'll get what we're on about).

Bladderwrack is a 2-man Dickensian Rant Rock Band from Penge playing merciless protest music in its purest form.

Bladderwrack was formed as a reaction to the repellent events and specimens dominating our headlines and media, and each 2-minute song is a tirade directed at a deserving muse. Bladderwrack features a Victorian undertaker playing a battered 12-string acoustic guitar through an ancient bass amp via a concoction of abusive pedals, and bellowing furiously through an overdriven microphone. Providing the thunderous backbone to this murderous noise is a gravedigger who howls ferociously while punishing his drum kit. Bladderwrack recorded a 9-song album in 1 hour at Moles Studio in Bath, produced and engineered by Toby McLaren (The Heavy, Led Bib), and has released several global smash-hit singles since, accompanied by unique and disturbing videos, including the rabble-rousing ‘Please Sir, We Want Some More’ and the hideous ‘Troll’

The Yes Mess Formed by singer-song writer Danthedan, The Yes Mess will smother you with fanciful incantations that will let your inner animal out.

Joyful and damaged, the vocal combinations live to tell the tale, harmonising and winning. The solid guitar rhythm will welcome you on a journey through the streets of, ‘Illness and Danger’, the ‘Land of the Laughing’ and the afterlife of a ‘Caterpillar’. The snarl and passion, groove and nagging pop melody, will boot-through as the drums roll out the swings and blows, supported by tight, peachy bass beats, and lead guitar experimentations; cheeky, creepy and bewailing. The accordion waves nightmarish imaginations; swiftly U-turning between klezmer to Cuban, jingle to jangle.
